The screen arrived in damaged packaging. The courier was very knowledgeable and helped me open the box, inspect the contents and check for any damage. The end cap was bent (I found out later that there is a small dent in the middle of the case). I contacted Elite Screens and they sent me two replacement end caps (one of two different sizes) about 5 days after the ticket opened on their website (weekends included). Another complaint is that the screen doesn't have a good mount. brackets. Yes, you can set it to what comes with the screen, but that's not realistic except under the most ideal of circumstances. Likewise, end caps are the ONLY way to mount the screen. There are no attachment points in the middle. With a screen nearly 140 inches long, it's impossible to attach both ends to the wooden studs in the wall (building codes say they're 16 inches apart). I had to attach two horizontal plywood braces to 3 studs and then use anchor bolts to secure this small one. Being a geek and no hands it was a little tricky but I'm proud to say I made it and it looks beautiful. The screen itself comes with three remote controls (a wall mount and two handhelds). The batteries that came with it died after a few days, but with new power adapters, the remote works again. The screen takes about 30-40 seconds to scroll up or down and there's already a slight but noticeable V-wrinkle effect on the screen. It's not bad at all, but I'm afraid it will get worse over the years. I hope that rolling the screen after use will help keep it looking white and flat. Basically, I'm happy with the screen. I would probably search more and consider other brands if buying again as this baby will last 10 years better!
