Can't program for Passat 2004
Metal key work. There is no safety chip for the ignition, so the car starts but goes into "shutdown mode" and shuts down within a minute. I tried programming the keys myself, the car beeped like it worked, but these remotes don't work after the process. I didn't go to the retailer to see if they accepted the program. I wish you success.
