Easy to install under sink and countertop filters

I have a Pansonic alkaline water machine that requires an expensive water filter. Instead of buying this filter, I just add my own filter before adding water to this machine. Simply unplug the 3/8" compression connector and plug it into the line. It took 10 minutes total including floor cleaning, now it works perfectly. This filter says a 3 year life is good. Let's see if the filter is really good for that long.
