there's some pros and cons but nothing deal-breaking for my syrian hamsterthe hut house fits GREAT. huge opening and still lots of space inside. really no complaints here at all.the bridge has some gaps between the wood. i also am not a fan of the metal hooks being so pokey but it does help the bridge keep its shape when stretched and it also helps the bridge hang across a wired cage in different angles and slopes. the hooks are useless for me, i use a very large beautiful reptilian tank for my syrian hamster Korilakkuma, and it is size 648 SQ IN. While my hamster's habitat doesn't have any wires, i can still use this bridge by hiding the wire hooks under the colorful paper bedding. this isn't very stable though, because the bridge can still wobble for a heavily running syrian.i think this wouldn't be an issue for dwarf hamhams (as far as size goes, this means all small rodents the size of a dwarf hamham)lastly, the log is fun, but it won't fit a syrian through it. the holes are so small and the log being so narrow, it just couldn't possibly work. i stand the log upright as a chew tower. i also stick more things throughout it to make it more appealing. it works this way for my hamham.
