Review on Osprey Packs Pogo Kids Daypack by Erik Snyder

Perfect size for standard folders!

I'm writing this to help those who are having trouble finding the right size Osprey carrycot. My daughter used a small pottery bag and this third grade year regular plastic bindings might work but not very practical because the top of the bag narrows down than the bottom. She could squeeze anything in, but she had to pull to get things out. I've been using the Female Osprey Quasar for three years now, I really like it (color, quality, size, pockets). I lent her my bag which was too big for her until I figured out which bag to order for her. I stayed with Axis, Kobe and Pogo for them. I preferred the padded pocket on the front of the Koby, but I preferred the Pogo's minimalist style. I ordered Koby and Pogo to see them in person (my quasar has rubber bands like that and I don't really like them in practice). , prefer a padded closed bag for my daughter to keep her belongings clean). Axis is 18L, Koby is 20L, and Pogo is 24L (wish Amazon put that in the names to save time). Kobe is about the same size as their clay barn backpack, so it's going to be uncomfortable for people who buy standard bindings. The bond will come, but you must fight it. Koby has a cool pocket for sunglasses and a large pocket with a laptop compartment. I also love that padded front pocket which my youngest daughter also has on her little osprey and it's really handy when we're on the go for sweaters, stuffed animals and other things we need quick access to. Both have the same laptop sleeve, both have the same padding on the back and straps. Both have large side pockets. When I saw the Koby size, I didn't even bother to order the smaller capacity Axis. The reasons we chose Pogo are as follows: 1. The size, the size is just right for my 9 year old daughter and big enough for her to grow for several years. See photos for reference. She wears a size 10 and is a bit tall for her age but generally an average sized child. The Pogo doesn't have that sunglass pocket on top, but it does have a full second front pocket with plenty of room for organization and plenty of good pockets. When she saw this, she immediately wanted a pogo because she prefers to organize her stuff in bags and bags than to keep things in one big bag. The laptop sleeves are the same in both pockets and do not have a front lining like the women's version, just a nylon pocket. However, the back has a lot of padding.3. The pogo has a waist strap and a chest strap. A lap belt isn't required unless you're carrying heavy loads, but the lap belt can be stowed in the side pockets so it's not an eyesore when not in use! Therefore, they are hidden and ready for the moment we need them. As I wanted the bag to be travel friendly too, that was a plus! See picture for reference. The only thing I would have wished for the Osprey was a pogo sized bag but with a stretchy front pocket. I don't see much point in this front handle, although it is very elegant and beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. I hope this helps some of you who are having trouble deciding what to buy!
