Review on 🚗 Subaru D1010FE020 Transmission Mount: Enhance Performance and Stability by Rafael Lewis

Probably one of the best upgrades you can make to your car. I installed it on my '19 WRX and the difference it makes was very noticeable from the moment you get behind the wheel. This completely removed any backlash-causing gear movement, but it doesn't explain much. In the 3 months I've had the WRX I figured the slight twitch was from the way Subaru makes their transmissions or I'm not used to the car's clutch yet. It was worse in first and second gear. I was completely wrong. I knew I wasn't that bad at driving manuals. This gear mount made the gear changes extremely smooth. The speed adjustment has become even smoother. I have no idea why Subaru chose to use a flimsy mount that was factory installed when they should have used that from the start. There is also virtually no increased NVH. You'll only hear a slight squeak from the rear diff, but you probably won't notice if you don't hear it.
