Review on Mini Tabletop Bean Toss Indoor by Jonathan Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with my set

After reading the reviews I realized there was good reason for some of the negative reviews but this size struck me as the best and most appropriate for my 8ft - dining room to be . table, so I went ahead and bought them. Ideally they should be 9 feet apart for their 1/3 scale size, but if you stand behind them to toss the bean bags, that should be about the right distance to toss the bag. Some people say they tend to slip easily. I fixed this by beveling the front edge on the table saw and gluing a tool cabinet liner to the underside of the legs and to the beveled front edge. This edge is beveled to lie flat on the table and not at the original angle. Now they don't slide at all. Before that, we simply dragged a chair to the table behind the boards, but the chair tends to get in the way of the person throwing the beanbag. An alternative was to screw a thin piece of wood to the bottom of the legs (leg to leg) and then use a spring clamp to secure them. Just finished my modifications to the boards tonight and look forward to trying them out. This weekend with my sons. I have attached photos of my boards. Overall I am very happy with my desktop corn hole set. I think they would be great for scaled down home entertainment.
