1. Meross equipment is generally effective and provides quality products. But in this case... well... there's a problem with the lithium-ion batteries in the freezers. My goal was to provide a means to monitor the temperature of the freezer if there was a problem e.g. if the freezer door was left open etc. I need this sensor in the freezer. I would like to be able to install a separate housing and a ribbon cable on the sensor. Thus, the battery can be placed outside the freezer. But it is not clear that the sensor housing can be opened.
