Review on Cole Haan Tucker Venetian Loafer Men's Shoes in Loafers & Slip-Ons by John Contreras

I've owned 5 pairs of Cole Haan Tucker Venetians (this exact shoe) in the last 5 years. I usually buy 2 new pairs of black and brown for the holidays every year and throw away my old pair. THIS IS NOT THE SAME VENETIAN TUCKER! The quality has dropped significantly and the materials are absolutely not the same. A pair of French Roast had a 1.5 inch gap between the rubber sole and the upper after 2 months of wear. Simply put, the black pair I bought was not the same leather. It was a soft leather material that stretched, fit and looked like my year old pair in less than a month. Read other testimonials from regular customers who have already bought shoes and they will agree. Again, this was my 5th pair and they always last a year. I'm glad Revain is buying and exchanging them, although I would have preferred a full refund. It's outside the return window so they did the right thing. I called Cole Haan and they said it had to be through Revain. So much for them to buy their product. I was loyal to Cole Haan for 16 years. Before that I was a regular customer at Santa Barabra and had about 5 pairs of these shoes.
