Red bulbs have no circadian disruptive blue light, so I use these bulbs as a night light around the house. For example, I installed 8 lightbulbs in a ceiling fan that I turn on at night when I'm getting ready for bed. Good price and so far none have blown. The photo shows (8) red 7 watt bulbs in my ceiling fan during the early evening hours (b4 dark). (Four red uplights and four red downlights).
