Our cockatiels love it. They have not used other closed feeders but will use this one because they can see while they eat. Far fewer projectiles outside the cage. The only thing is that the platform is polluted with feces, so we have to wash away every change in the semen. This is a design perk, however, and a worthy compromise with the need to constantly vacuum. They also like the platform where they can take larger seeds and work with them there. We put their treats there.
