I am in love with this dress! I ordered it as a coverup for entering the gym before a group swim class. I wanted something light, comfy, and easy to take on and off. It’s perfect! I ended up wearing it all day the first time I wore it. The fabric is so soft and light. I live in a very hot and humid climate and this fabric makes it more bearable. The dress also has a roomy fit around the legs and hips, so when a breeze comes it flutters and you can feel the breeze all under the fabric. It’s so cooling. It’s also nice and long, so it feels like a sheer blanket. Not too cold indoors with the AC blasting and yet not too hot outside. It’s a perfect dress for summer in the south. Sometimes it’s actually more cooling to have more skin covered (less sticking and sweat) and this is the kind of dress that’s perfect for that. I also feel like it’s not ugly considering how casual it is. It has a cottagecore vibe and you could style it to make it more glamorous with the right shoes. I’m thinking about ordering more!
