If your model supports these accessories but does not come with an electric hose and tube, you will need to purchase these in addition to this item (refer to owner's manual for part numbers). My investment went from $350 for a Miele Olympus to $900 with the addition of this head and electrified parts. For the money I could buy one of the best in this line. I decided to cut my losses and got it all back. I really liked the vacuum and if it came with a motorized carpet cleaner I would still own it. When I took this attachment out of the box and saw how well made and durable it was, I thought. Attention, mud, here we come! I didn't mind paying the extra $250 because I was sure it would exceed my expectations and be a pleasure to use, save time and get the job done. Unfortunately, that enthusiasm quickly faded when I realized I had to spend almost another $300 to get everything working. Electronic hose and hose are included by default, you can decide to add them.
