Don't buy this for spices - annoying design choice - otherwise not bad

When I read that this product comes with a free 5 year supply of spices I thought wow only the savings will come from that likely to cover the cost of the product in the long run. However, when I received the product I was very disappointed with the choice of spices as most of them were never used in most of the recipes. Here's what happened to me: marjoram, fennel seed, bay leaf, basil, celery salt, Italian seasoning, rosemary, herbs de provence, chives, sea salt, coriander, pizza seasoning, oregano, parsley, chopped mint, spices, salt. Okay, sure, oregano and rosemary aren't bad, but note that none of the following spices were included: chilli powder, cinnamon, cumin, curry powder, garam masala, garlic powder, ground cardamom, ground ginger, nutmeg, onion powder, paprika, pepper any Kind (black, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, white), smoked paprika, thyme and turmeric. annoys. Thing is, the jars are pre-labeled with the names of the crappy spices they ship, so I ended up finding a label maker to change the names of all the spices as well. I also hope that the leftover spices in the empty jars don't contaminate what I replaced them with. Spices, which are cones in the typical spice jars you find at most grocery stores. So if you don't want to throw away about 2 tablespoons of spices every time you buy more, you'll need to keep a spice jar with the leftover spices until you use them in cooking. This somewhat defeats the purpose of the build, which is to avoid a shelf full of pesky spice jars. The product itself looks a bit cheap (it's mostly just plastic), but it's a good size to put on a counter or cupboard. . It also spins very smoothly and the cans snap firmly into place so I'm not worried about the cans falling off the rack if I spin it a little faster. I actually have two of them because I have a lot of spices on hand and they harmonize wonderfully with each other in the cupboard. I would probably recommend storing spices in alphabetical order to save you even more time looking for what you need.
