Take the weight off your lower back/hips and redistribute it onto your shoulders!

I purchased two (2) of these 3M BPK-01 backpacks to allow our two PAPRs to be carried comfortably for long periods of time. Almost every PAPR 3M kit comes with high-quality, European-made leather hip belts, but if you're going to be wearing a PAPR for an hour or more, switch to a backpack. The reason is simple: the straps of the backpack distribute the weight between the shoulders and the back. It's much more comfortable than having all that weight on your lower back and hips. Not to mention that if you're like me using powerful organic vapor and multi-gas cartridges with a HEPA filter, PAPR setups can get pretty heavy. I have attached five (5) pictures; Two (2) show the sealed backpack in its original packaging, two (2) show both sides of the backpack lying on my bench and the last shows my two PAPRs mounted on 3M BPK-01 backpacks. The Adflo High Altitude fan mounts to the BPK-01 without any additional accessories, but the TR-600 and TR-800 fans must be installed using the TR-655 backpack adapter *not included*. Overall, I highly recommend these backpacks. for those who regularly use PAPR. 3M supplies, while expensive, are well made and most commercial/industrial products are made in Europe, the US and Japan.
