Review on EUREKA Brand Style R Vacuum Belt: Ensuring Optimal Cleaning Efficiency with Superior Durability by Rachel Riley

This is an official Eureka belt, correct for my model 4870 vacuum cleaner. But it didn't work well because it was too tight (maybe 5mm shorter in circumference ). , probably due to differences between batches. The strap was model 71367B, lot M0006 EU Style R, bought in July 2012. It was very difficult to flip the switch between the floor and the carpet because the tension was too much. When moving to a vertical position, the automatic strain relief did not work. In an upright position and on a bare floor, the brush will still rotate. Over the next week I replaced it with another brand from Revain which worked correctly. Also, the Eureka belt was .027 inches thick (we all know how pathetically thin it is) compared to the brand's .050 inches. I will continue to use the cheaper branded product (2 pack) which I rate as excellent. Check out my other reviews for the best belt.
