I have been using them for many years. They are no longer available in grocery stores. They make my skin soft. I shower every day but exfoliate once or twice a week as my skin is sensitive. They will become softer after the first few uses. They are very easy to clean and all the soap washes off. They're not as porous as a sponge (although they hold the soap until you wash it off). Water will flow through them easily, which is very important for cleaning. Mold loves soap scum and with this cleaning pad all the soap comes out right after a thorough rinse.
