Review on Black 2-Pack Of Vivere EFHTS Accessories For Hammocks by John Boyce

Need at least 14 foot width to hang properly

Be aware of length limitation. The hammock is advertised as 156 inches - or 13 feet. I needed to hang it between two fixed columns 11feet 4 inches apart. The hammock was too long for this shorter span - but the "answered questions" included a response that said "you can change the length of the straps." Not true. There are no straps - just the multiple strings shown that attach the fabric to the ring on the end. You can, however, tie a big not in the strings - which effectively shortens the length. I did this at both ends. But then it becomes more difficult to get the fabric to spread to accommodate two people - since the knots move the point of "zero spread" at the ring toward the fabric you lay in. Mine is now effectively a one-person hammock. Not a problem for me, since that was my intended use, but maybe a problem if you really want a two-person hammock. I can't address how well it works as a two-person hammock if the support columns are 14 feet or more apart (what I would recommend) since I haven't had a chance to use it under those criteria. Other than the length issue, it appears to be well made. No hardware included, except for the attached rings the strings attach to at the ends. You'll need your own S-hooks and whatever you intend to attach them to.

Pros
  • Perfect for use during camping trips, beach outings, or any outdoor adventure
Cons
  • The accessories may require some trial and error to figure out the best configuration for a comfortable experience
