As my first necklace, I was very hesitant to buy it. I'm one of those girls with a thick neck so I bought it with little expectation. Words cannot express how pleasantly surprised I was when I first put this necklace on. This world is well made. All the skull charms are present and the material is a lot stronger and stronger than it looks. I received many compliments while wearing it. This necklace is very comfortable. I wore this for 6 hours at the Renaissance Fair with no problems. The only downside I can think of is that the material is thicker than lace which makes the skin underneath sweat a bit. My only real complaint is the back closure system. The latch is very small. This did the first time attaching the necklace in 2-3 minutes. After that you get used to it, but it's still an inconvenience. The best part about this feature is that the choker is adjustable. You can snap it on as tightly or loosely as you like. After all, for the modest price of $9, it would be foolish to pass up. Even if it's not your style or you think it's too big/small, it's worth the money.
