Thing looks pretty cute

Thing looks pretty cute, but does it work? I checked it out and here's what I have to say. The headphones just don't fit my hanging ears. They just can't cover my flesh enough to block out the noise. For this reason it gets 4 stars. However, read on. After tossing the earbuds in the trash, I pulled out a regular pair of in-ear headphones and popped them in. this child. With headphones and this microphone thing that roams the car with an annoying little rumble behind it. It worked damn well and got me on a wheel bearing in just a few seconds of driving. Oh those subtle sounds are a pain but it seemed to make things easier even when I was only using half the product. I'd also recommend getting some mic foam and gluing it on if you're not using a metal mount. Filtering out a bit more noise would help.

Pros
  • Aluminum Probe - The durable aluminum probe has a non-conductive rubber boot to avoid damaging sensitive electronics
Cons
  • Style 90
