The product leaves the locket in the water.
Gently cleaned right out of the box before use. It keeps the water temperature high enough to slowly sip a hot drink without cooling it down quickly. What I didn't like was that I only poured water into his urn, the urn lid and water had product residue on it. So I mostly drink steel residue in hot water. π
