We love our Shark products and will probably never own another brand again. At the same time, filters require maintenance. We have two different vacuum cleaners and they are two different models. Both have foam pre-filters that require maintenance. As long as you do this you will have no problems. That being said, in our experience, it takes a long time to fully dry, and with a large lab, a cat, and TERRIBLE allergies, we sometimes vacuum twice a day to reduce allergies. This replacement kit allows us to keep up with filter flushes without worrying about downtime. I love the styrofoam bits, but we always have trouble using HEPA filters. They just don't seem to want to stay sane for us. It may be user error and they eventually work, but it takes some time and finesse. In general a good set of filters, we are satisfied with the price and quality.
