Review on Black Widow 🕷️ Tour Cleat by SOFTSPIKES by Jorge Eckstein

I installed these on my Adidas Beacon (2006 Edition) and used the Tour Firm setting on the outer rim. These adjustment rings are easy to use and actually provide a decent sealing surface to reduce the amount of sand and grass that can get caught behind the spikes. . In a comfortable setting, the adjustment ring allows the black spikes to fully articulate for a plush feel. Please note that when installing these spikes, make sure the pins are aligned properly, otherwise the tool can easily break these spikes. There is not much material around the two holes. But even if they break, they don't come loose when squeezed. I had to use the ripper tool to remove my old pulsars. The first thing I noticed on the golf course was that these spikes clog MUCH less than pulsars. Grass and dirt can still accumulate around the spikes, as well as inside the spikes between the rings, but nothing like what I got with the pulsars. At Pulsars, the early morning first 3 holes will have me walking through the grass. They're a lot cleaner with these touring boots from Black Widow. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 26, 2013: I've ridden over 36 holes in them, plus a few driving ranges (real grass of course) and they've never felt uncomfortable. Overall: 5/5 stars
