Long enough to put in clear glass. I bought these to put around small Christmas trees in the windows of my house. They look really cute. Instead of candles in the windows, this was something different. I really like them. Perfect for illuminating anything.

- It says it lasts about 72 hours but mine died in less than 48 hours. I was very disappointed.
