I thought they would work for Christmas decorations, but these fairy lights last about 6 hours, maximum! And they're very short (about 3 ft each). I guess if you want to stick them in a jar for ONE dinner party, they do the trick, but I'm guessing the reason they put 20 lights in the pack is that they are absolutely geared for use and throw away.

These lights are beautiful and the perfect size for miniature Christmas trees, but the batteries in each string lasted only a few hours. When the cost of replacement batteries is factored in, the price of these lights more than doubles. And with my arthritis, it’s a serious hassle to open all those battery compartments and then get four tiny screws back in each one securely.

We have not used these lights long enough to determine reliability or battery life. I can say that all the strings lit up when we tried them -- no duds. We bought this lot for about $1.06 per string. We bought very similar lights at a local big-box hobby store and paid over $2.00 per string. We will report back if we find that reliability or battery life is a problem.

Had turned on for less than 24 hours over a few days and lights went completely out. The lights were dimming after just a few hours of use. Would not recommend.

I paired these with some small lanterns as part of my wedding centerpieces and couldn't be happier! They lasted all 4 hours of the reception and likely have some serious life left in them. Even if I sell my centerpieces, I am keeping my lanterns!

The lights are displayed at the bottom of the hurricane lamp. As you can see, the lights are bright white, not warm like the other lights I have.

When I opened the package, 1 light was clearly missing from the packaging (see photo, noting the staples holding the packaging together).I needed the lights pretty urgently, so I could not wait for a replacement.The 19 I received worked as expected, and looked quite nice.

The lights were just enough to fit into a glass fixture to add sparkle to the table. The event was a Rehearsal Dinner with a Mardi Gras theme. I covered the battery pack of each strand of lights with Mardi Gras beads. They lasted all evening and are stored for the next event. Can’t wait to use them again.

Nice collection of little led light strings. They gave that little extra touch to arrangements at an historic house event.

Literally lasted four hours. You can replace all the batteries if you have a tiny screw driver and ample amounts of time. Unfortunately I have to throw them out and buy the type that uses AA batteries.

Terrible! Don’t waste your money. I bought these for my Christmas decorations and after using them for a few days (max 2-3 hrs/day) they are all burning out.

The length was perfect for my small baskets. Didn't want a lot of wiring and the length was just right and the lights were very bright.

Long enough to put in clear glass. I bought these to put around small Christmas trees in the windows of my house. They look really cute. Instead of candles in the windows, this was something different. I really like them. Perfect for illuminating anything.

Item is as advertised, perfect length and size for the vase. Lights up beautifully. I ordered these lights for my daughter's wedding centerpieces. This product did not disappoint. Definitely recommend. Order delivered with 20 lights, batteries already in place, and a small screw driver to replace battery when needed.

Loved these when they first arrived so much that I ordered 2 more sets. Wish I would had read the Q & A’s first ! Never bought these b4 so maybe not fair to criticize. Including instructions would have been helpful. The lights/battery seem rechargeable. How long does this take?What is the correct size replacement battery to use? Disappointed with this.

These lights were absolutely perfect for our bulletin board/door decorating contest at school. We did a Home Alone theme and used the lights to go around the "windows" of the McCallister home! They were the absolute finishing touch and added so much to our project.

These arrived neatly packaged and offer a nice bright glow. I'm using them to light up some mini Christmas trees and they are perfect for that application. I turn the lights on each night for about 5-6 hours, so after a week, I'm seeing some drain on a couple of strands. Not terribly surprising, but something to consider if you plan to use these frequently.

I buy these every Christmas. In addition to using them myself, I use them to make Christmas ornaments and grapevine wreaths and trees for neighbors and friends. The battery life is short, but they are so inexpensive and the lights are bright and easy to use. The metal wiring is Super thin but easy to maneuver. I will continue to buy these for our own decorations and for those that I make for others. They are really fantastic. Highly recommend.
