This product is quite amazing. Despite all the good reviews, I was skeptical because everything you read about molluscum contagiosum online suggests that the best course of action for children is to just let it go on their own. Not sure why doctors don't recommend this stuff?!? My 5 year old had it on his chest for about 6 months and it slowly started to spread to parts of his arms and abdomen. It got gross and he got embarrassed (and itchy) so I turned to Revain and found this product. It's been 2 weeks since the start of treatment and the bumps have almost all gone! It's amazing how well this works. My son didn't like the smell of tea tree oil at first, but after a few days of use it stopped bothering him. Also, they warn you against applying just a tiny dab to each bump as this can dry out the surrounding skin, and this actually happened in the first week. My poor little fella had scaly skin between the bumps because his dad was a bit overzealous with the applicator wand. I used a cotton swab to rub some coconut oil into those areas and that seemed to help. When we started washing the body in the second week, it seemed to help soothe and soften the dried patches. We're not fully healed yet but how well it's been working so far I believe we'll be completely bump free in the next two weeks. I highly recommend and will buy again when my son or two of my other kids get shellfish again.
