Review on SUPERNIGHT TM Waterproof Flexible Lighting by Josh Akin

I installed a few of these in my computer which is connected to the power supply with a molex connector. No issues other than poor glue quality and darkening of the epoxy. I had to find an alternative to fix the strips with superglue. The darkening of the coating is a mystery to me for beginners. As I'm not sure if the LEDs were on for more than 3 hours a day, or if it's just natural wear and poor reaction to the hot epoxy coated LEDs. But after a little over a year, they went from a bright bluish-white light to a faint (still bright) light. Upon closer inspection, I can see that not only is the entire epoxy side of the strip brown, but the epoxy that was over the LEDs has burned off. I would advise against using these LEDs for everyday use. However, they are very affordable and plentiful, so I see no problem installing a new LED strip when the first one wears out. I almost gave 3 stars for consistent quality but the price and quantity is hard to miss.
