Great flashlights for the dime.

First of all, these things are light and waterproof. I wanted to have an LED panel in the kitchen but gave it up for the price. The answer was to build your own. It was very easy. I had an extra breadboard that I cut to size and used the holes as a guide to mount to the breadboard. The adhesive only sticks once, so if you need to reposition, plan to have contact cement on hand. The finished product was excellent and sometimes cheaper. Being a recessed bay, I had enough room to hide the power…

No surprises, solder point puzzle solved

TLDR; Works perfectly. Unpack/check before use, otherwise they may overheat. The coil comes with a 1/4" male connector on one end and a 5" loose (red/black) wire soldered to the other end. This made testing easier since I just plugged in the AC adapter The strip had a slight odor similar to a new foam mattress that I think will go away in a few days. As expected, the strip can be cut at every third light (I call this "block" == 3 LEDs). For reviewers who think they're "soldered" trims. More…

No problems other than poor quality glue and darkening of the epoxy

I installed a few of these in my computer which is connected to the power supply with a molex connector. No issues other than poor glue quality and darkening of the epoxy. I had to find an alternative to fix the strips with superglue. The darkening of the coating is a mystery to me for beginners. As I'm not sure if the LEDs were on for more than 3 hours a day, or if it's just natural wear and poor reaction to the hot epoxy coated LEDs. But after a little over a year, they went from a bright…

These headlights are bright and have put thousands of miles on my bike since I installed them. Still going strong. Two very minor complaints. If you want pure white, make sure you're getting daylight or pure white light, not warm or cool white. They are cool white with a very slight bluish cast. I like her. My bike looks like it's floating on a cloud. Another thing is that the glue is not so good. I've found this to happen with all LEDs I've used, even if they were 3m. I buy the stronger 3M…

I bought them to add footpegs to my truck. I had LEDs there that I installed a year ago, but one of the wires caught on the car wash brush and broke the wire. Well I think I would completely update the lighting by adding it. First, there is a difference between "5050" and "3528", 5050 is brighter. When these headlights came out, I took off the old headlights, cleaned the surface of my truck where I installed them with rubbing alcohol, and then applied 3M tape and secured it. Then I soldered the
