Review on πŸ”’ UAG Metropolis Feather-Light Rugged Cobalt iPad Case - Military Drop Tested for iPad 9.7 (2017 5th Gen & 2018 6th Gen) by Chad Delgado

OK, but there are a few essentials BUT

I was looking for a case for my children with corner protection and a screen protector. It was one of the few options that fit the bill (others didn't protect the corners, didn't have a lid, or had a transparent splash rather than a lid). So it got an extra star for my needs. The case is light enough to be comfortable but not too heavy to make the iPad bulky. Another good thing. BUT. should be BUT, right? There are two things that concern me greatly. One of the sides has a little nick and I really don't know why. Like a small indentation on the right side of the screen. At first I thought it wouldn't quite work and the piece was hidden under the iPad. No, the second one I bought had the same problem. And the problem is worse. Frame. In the stock photo, do you see the colored part peeling off the back of the iPad? Every time you open the lid this weird thing happens, if that part comes loose you have to adjust it - press that part against the back of the iPad and then tuck the lid behind the iPad so you can use it like a tablet can hold . . It's a pain so annoying I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Compatible with iPad (5th and 6th generation) and original iPad Air
Cons
  • There are defects
