I don't usually leave reviews but had to for this one Do carpet because it's just amazing. Our tray is in the guest bathroom, and for years, no matter how much I cleaned, our floor was littered with trash. Our litter box is covered and we only have one cat, but between the time he moves the litter box while he's in the litter box and pops out when he's done, he makes a real mess. While it's not as bad as stepping on Lego, walking on tiles covered in debris is annoying and frustrating. In the past we have used mats that "hold" the bedding in the pile fibers. And while they do trap dirt, they can't be fully cleaned, so they clog and become less effective over time. After doing a lot of homework I decided to scrap this design and buy this one and I'm so glad I did. It's everything I want in a rug: big enough to cover a litter box, designed to catch litter but not to be a permanent trap, and very low maintenance. Since we started this two weeks ago we haven't had any litter on the floor!
