Review on Navy JanSport Firewire Core Backpack by Heather Coleman

Not sure if this is a real Jansport bag

I've had it for about a year and one day my roommate called me and said she had a lot of groceries and needed help to put them back in to bring our apartment. I grabbed my Jansport bag (at least I thought it was one) and walked to meet it a few feet from my house. I've seen some plastic bags burst due to some groceries so it only made sense that I was carrying a JanSport bag. I packed so many of their groceries in this bag and when I was a few feet from my apartment, the top right side of the second compartment ripped open. It was the same compartment normally used to store my laptop. I don't know if it was already weakened from carrying my laptop in it every day and if it eventually gave up while wearing it, does it contain any products? These products were much lighter than my Dell laptop. I immediately wondered if this bag was a real JanSport bag and I still do. Trust me, if it wasn't a Jansport bag I would have refused to help my roommate with her groceries (just kidding) or asked her to find her own bag to carry her groceries with. When I bought this one (Firewire should be called silly) it was $50 and no I don't think it was worth it because I had another JanSport bag before I bought it and it's still intact. I bought this Jansport Firewire just to connect my laptop, it protected my laptop for the year I used it. I carried my laptop with me almost every day because I study every day in the library on the campus of the university where I study. Unfortunately I stopped wearing this Firewire JanSport when it broke at the top and went back to my previous old regular JanSport (everyone only knows the very popular 2 bay) and now appreciate it more than before. Now I also carry a SEPARATE bag for my laptop. All in all I don't recommend this product if you want to carry your laptop around. Just save the money and buy a separate bag for it and use your original JanSport bag (yes, those two zips) that everyone probably has. currently. This bag deserves 2 ½ stars.

Cons
