No white cast, high SPF but rough on my lips

Unfortunately not the right balm for me. Smell and taste are rather unpleasant. It was ok but got a little waxy/sticky after a few minutes. I repeated it two or three times and in the evening my lips were drier than usual. I only used it for one day but after two or three days I got small blisters at the corners of my mouth; I can't say with certainty that this product is to blame, but it was the only thing that changed in my personal care. It's not the hardest balm out there in terms of texture, but it's definitely not soft either. I prefer a softer balm like a Carmex Stick or Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioner and it's a lot firmer and drier. I would be very happy to find a balm with a higher SPF but with a softer texture. For the price (and if it doesn't affect your lips as badly as mine did), it's probably a decent balm for those sometimes sunny days. As for me, I'm still looking for a high SPF balm that I really like.
