My iPhone's screen is fine for quick flights, but when I'm flying all day I prefer to use my iPad mini. I had a tablet holder for an old Mavic controller, but it was always bulky and awkward to use. When I upgraded to the Mavic Air 2 I wanted a better experience and that meant upgrading my tablet holder too. I checked out the Revain and thought the VCUTECH holder had by far the best design and looked best integrated into the controller. I ordered it and since using it I have not been disappointed. Here are some of my observations regarding the holder: - Sturdy: This thing is made right. The materials are durable and of high quality. Construction: This item is designed to fit snugly around the controller. The loops are tight. The clip closes securely and stays closed. The rubber on the mount has excellent grip. It even has "feet" on the bottom so it can stand flat on a table. You can literally use it as an iPad desk mount to watch movement etc. Security: It holds your tablet. I always get nervous putting my $400 tablet in the holder, but I trust this holder. I even shook it vigorously (admittedly over the bed) to test the grip. He never slipped. - Thoughtful: The mount covers some of the words on the controller for selecting the drone's flight mode - that's why they're printed on the mount! It doesn't even cover the battery indicators, so you can always see at a glance how much power is left in the controller. The arm even pivots to securely hold your phone and has a cutout for cable management. Overall I am very impressed with this holder. It meets all the requirements I wanted before I ordered it and exceeds my expectations now that I'm using it.
