the quality is normal and the thickness is comfortable but i bought it to practice on the Loom but they didn't fit me at all, doesn't work well. The boards were very slippery in it and I felt unsafe throughout the session. I've only worn them once and won't try again. I do Pure Barre and the Barre Method; both are carpeted and I think I wore them at Pure Barre but wouldn't risk trying them on there either. I think they will be fine on non-carpeted floors or for home use. The Live Happy Be Healthy brand socks are a perfect match for my barre sessions, so I recommend them instead.
