I really wanted it to be this convenient and stylish but it turns my laptop off as soon as I plug it into a USB port. I have to turn it off, remove the battery and drain the power to start the backup. Nothing strange has happened to my Anker backup battery, but my laptop's dodgy electronic response scares me about plugging it back into my phone or OSMO. EDIT: I thought it might be a defect so I opted for a "replacement" rather than a full refund, but the second one does as well. bring them both back
