Install tips from a licensed plumber

Reading the reviews, there looks to be a correlation between non-professional installations & dissatisfaction with the final product. Install tips:- Hire a *licensed* plumber (accountability, insurance, bond, and warranty)- Don't use the included ¾" crimp pipe/fittings; you will reduce your flow. This filteration system is made for 1", your water supply system is potentially 1", and the install kit bottlenecks it down to ¾" or less (the crimp-style fittings have an effective opening of only ⅝" diameter - enough for little more than a bath & that's it!)- FLUSH THE FILTERS THOROUGHLY (15 - 30 min) before putting them into service. So very important. You will have brown water otherwise.- Install a lead-free boiler drain on the piping AFTER the filters, so that you can flush/de-pressurize/test the water quality & pressure at the source. Otherwise all your woes are left to speculation, should you have any.- Oil-filled pressure gauges before & after the filters are a good idea. You'll spot a restricted-flow problem instantly without having to touch anything.- Use union fittings, so that you can service and/or remove components of the system later.Hope this helps!
