These are just my first impressions of this product and will be added as I use it. Overall I'm happy with these meat hooks, although I bought them to fish and tow them in my canoe when I'm bow fishing. .I love that they are stainless steel, I bought two of these for the price of a hay hook at my local farm store. The handle of these hooks is a hollow tube through which I thread the paracord and snap the carabiner. turn the canoe around so I don't lose my meat hook if a big fish snatches it from my hand. -------- TIP ------- When using these hooks or a hay hook to hook a fish from the side of your boat, DO NOT overswing or you could be hit over your boat, and these hooks are strong enough to pierce it. Use Swing AT ARM or SWING FROM on the side of the boat. Most of the time you want to try and hook one of them by the gills and pull the fish out. These meat hooks are MUCH cheaper than most hooks I've seen for sale, but you have to use common sense.

Pros
  • Notice. The hooks are sharp, keep them out of the reach of children.
Cons
  • Out of date
