Review on Pedal Commander - PC38: Ultimate Throttle Response Controller for Toyota Tacoma (2nd & 3rd Gen), all Models (2005 and newer) by Devin Jirsa

Does what it should, I'm thrilled!

Fits my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It was literally easy to install. Spent more time trying to find the flashlight in the right spot than trying to connect. I started in city mode and immediately noticed the difference, the response is much greater. Going to the top notch, my Cruiser felt like it was about to jump off the pavement just as I hit the accelerator in first or second gear. I found City 3 best for normal driving. Get a little more responsiveness, but it doesn't take much to adjust my shift pattern to match. I haven't replaced either exhaust yet but the car sounds even better instead of going up/down like usual, much more rpm noise. I imagine it would sound really good with a performance exhaust. Maybe there will be a real performance boost next to a K&N air filter.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember
