So. it is not a bad product. This works, but you'll hear a constant "white noise" in the background of your games when it's quiet. I'm not sure if this happens with all high-end headsets, but it's disappointing. During gameplay, the game's audio usually drowns out the white noise. Another issue I had was the headset causing my controller to reset randomly. I was playing a game and my controller just turned off. I use an elite xbox controller and never had this issue until using this headset. I think it has something to do with the proprietary adapter they use. Without an adapter, the controller never has any problems and the headset works perfectly. I was recently using my headset and it suddenly stopped working with Xbox chat. I checked the cables, rebooted the receiver and did some other resets as well. By factory resetting the receiver I was finally able to get it working again. The product support on their website is also very slow. They just send you an email and it takes around 24 hours for you to get a reply from them for every reply. However, they offered to send me a new cable for my headset. although I don't think that was the cause of my problem. Overall I've probably spent at least 200-300 hours with this headset, the few batteries are very good and the sound is excellent. Occasional glitches aside, this isn't a bad headset.
