I have installed many Eve products but this camera was the quickest and easiest to install. From opening my Revain package to fully set up and up and running in our living room in less than 5 minutes! It connected to our network quickly and easily (this camera is compatible with both 2.4 and 5.0 networks!). Not only was it easy to install, but it was also incredibly discreet. We don't even notice it in the room. One of the very first things that struck me about Eve Cam is that there is almost no lag between recording and playback (seriously, maybe 0.5-1 second max). I've been thinking about bringing the Eve Cam into our little one's room to replace the Owlet cam because the latency is unbelievable at times. High resolution and a wide field of view are also important features! I can clearly see my entire living room, garage door/entryway, and kitchen. Sometimes I give my daughter a movie while I'm cooking dinner and with this camera I can follow her with almost no lag and without having to keep returning to the living room. The Eve app is incredibly easy to use for camera settings and automation. We currently have automation for our entertainment center and lights that turn on when we enter the living room! And of course, this camera is compatible with Apple HomeKit, so we can even see a small preview of our living room in the HomeKit toolbar!
