Okay I bought this (actually there are two) to carry around and just use as a pocket lighter. I really hoped it would be good and even hoped it would become my favorite lighter. not to be As it turns out, I have one at home and the other on a workbench in the garage. So they won't be abused, they're filled with high quality butane, and they live a pretty comfortable life for a lighter. I really like the size, the leather offers good grip and the clicking is light. The flame rests against my fingers to prevent burning on longer fires and directing it down the tube is really easy as it extends almost 90 degrees to the top surface. Too bad they suck. It took more and more clicks to ignite. Now to 10 before they hit flames. It only gets two stars because it looks nice, but a pretty lighter that doesn't do the job is a waste of money. Now I have Kiribi Kenshi and this lighter lives up to all the positive reviews it's getting. Too bad I didn't take the $32 I spent on both and just forwarded it to Kiribi. Next time it takes 10 clicks I'll throw it in the street so it's probably going there tonight. Update: I dropped it on the street. A star.
