While they won't make you thirsty, they're made from organic cotton and dry very quickly. The promise on the packaging is reminiscent of the moisture absorption of paper towels. You're a little shy. Despite the markings on the back of the box, they move water at first touch, but pick up well enough once you start buffing the dishes with a couple of graters. Not critical, but a little misleading. These fabrics are comfortable to the touch, beautiful to look at and provide peace of mind. You are the most beautiful cotton. Most importantly, however, is their ability to dry very quickly. These towels can be soaked to the skin, hung to dry and ready to use again in hours. That's very impressive. We have a shower with no splash guard. Water usually runs onto the floor at the edge of the tub. We block it with one of these, then hang it and the towel is easy to reach when we need it. I like it. I give one star for the specific claims that water doesn't move (it's not exactly water repellent) but still highly recommend these fabrics. You are tall. They dry quickly. You are thirsty enough.
