Bought for my sons preschool graduation. He is 6.5 years old and weighs 49 pounds. Usually wears a size 6/7 on most shirt brands. Bought size 7/8 for him and fits perfectly. Can be worn long sleeves or rolled up to a 3/4 length with a tab and button to secure. I may be the only naive here, but I had no idea how to roll it up properly, so here's what I figured out in case anyone else needs help: - unbutton the first button and hem of the sleeve - roll up the cuff once - pull behind the flap and close the button - leave the first unbuttoned button at the bottom of the sleeve undone! Don't try to close it. It won't stay and it took me 20 minutes to figure that out, just don't do it lol. My only complaint is that the thread on the front of the shirt causes the buttons to sag slightly. Otherwise the shirt is light and worth the money.
