One of my favorite shoes from the early 80's growing up with adidas superstars and suede cougars. there are so many of them but no they don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, the hard look on the ground looked rougher and even the entire outsole was thicker and if you compare the photos of them with the vintage models the nike swoosh logo on the side of the sneaker looked much better these new models look boring as curvy as the ones from before and the blue or from before was nicer and also the suede front and back were darker and faded than the nylon part which gave them a better look and if you look closely at the vintage models from the side they look boring and ordinary while from the side the old models looked like a nasty shark look of the side just beautiful, wish they made them like they used to, but still a beautiful shoe and please order half a size bigger nike cortez always run small they all have them in my home, wife, children and all needed a half size.
