So overall I like this tripod very much for my needs. I've always wanted a lightweight and compact tripod for my small DSLR and cell phone to use for family photos and making Youtube videos. The tripod is versatile and can be adjusted to almost any height you need. In my opinion the base is too big to fit on a table (unless it's a big table). So, depending on your needs, you should look elsewhere for these types of applications. I didn't give the tripod 5 stars for durability because it's a bit flimsy. As you can see from my photos, it holds my small DSLR and phone perfectly. I have a feeling it might fall over if you accidentally hit it or if there's a strong wind, especially if you had a heavy lens or your camera, or if it was tilted down. For a cellphone or GoPro, that's probably not a problem. Included is a handy Bluebooth remote that lets you take photos remotely with your Apple or Android phone. This is a great feature for family photos or selfie stick apps. The length of this thing also gives you great opportunities to take great group selfies (see image). However, at 62 inches with a large phone in the holder, it's really hard to hold onto. Cutting the length in half works well. Although it works like a selfie stick, I couldn't imagine walking around Disney World with this device all day as it is much bulkier and heavier than most selfie sticks on the market. That's why I got the product Only given 4 stars in the "Lightweight" category. So I summarize: Pro: Extensive customization options. Lightweight for regular photo/video shooting Easily holds small and large smartphones. Includes GoPro mount. Works well and supports almost all angles with DSLR cameras (at least up to a certain weight) if you need to carry around all day. Too light for really heavy DSLR lenses. If you need a desktop app, look elsewhere.
