IMPRESSIVE. If you fly quads this is a great kite!

This kite just flies great! (You must have experience with quad kites. You won't take these types of kites out of your pocket and fly without experience.) However, we were concerned/skeptical that the kite would have a minimal price point compared to American counterparts, two-up three times higher. How should I know? I have many (10 pieces) of the "best" American kites. Lo and behold, we received our kite from China (to the US) in 6 business days. That was our first surprise. As expected, upon visual inspection, there are differences in manufacturing/materials to the US counterpart. The overall dimensions of the kite are essentially the same. The sail material is lighter ripstop nylon and the wrapped carbon rods are "double wrapped" for connoisseurs. The dimensions of the bridle are slightly different (shorter across the entire surface of the kite) and the bridle material is rougher. The sail line is comparable. Attachment points/end caps are "stretchy" but still secure. A replacement stem and several end caps are also included as spare parts. Dyneema line (25m x 150#) included. We prefer other lines, both in style and length, but this line will do. The grips feel lighter, the padding is the same. They work fine. Other minor differences were noted, such as B. the lack of rubber washers, but these are considered minor. You can add them later if you want. Oh yes, air vents were included in this model. And now the real test. Does that thing fly? He flies very well again. When flying in winds of 10-15mph, easy takeoffs and landings were smooth, the propeller spun quickly and dives stopped instantly. Flight/maneuvering accuracy, individually or in a group, was accurate. Inverted flight was responsive and stable. To be honest I ran the kite "very hard" to break it a bit. Nothing done! Another surprise for me. In summary for $129.00 including lines and handles this is a great kite to own. The aforementioned differences did not affect the kite's performance. Other pilots were just as surprised when it was their turn with this kite. We are very happy! Actually, <whispers>, we'll get another one! shhh don't talk about us
