Really nice phone. The call is quieter than some others and pleasant: not shrill, but perfectly audible. The call can be switched off completely. Pure sound transmission. A handy phone that can be held between the shoulder and cheek when needed (unlike some retro models). UPDATE: A year later I need a new phone. Buzzing and crackling almost all the time for several months. unusable. I had phone technicians to check and fix the line. They told me it was this phone and not a line. The rest of the phones in the network work perfectly. Very disappointed. Still looks good, but sucks.
