I've been training since high school in the 1980's. At that time I was tempted by supplements from day one. First it was Weider, Champion Nutrition, then TwinLab. and so on. In the '90s, Met-Rx and then EAS with their HMB "felt like they were taking Deco," according to MuscleMedia2000. .And GOD, I fell for it. Many $1,000s of wasted dollars have been spent over the past 35 years. You'd think I'd stop falling into this nonsense, but the sad thing was that as technology and science advanced, each new "breakthrough" gave this part new hope. benefit and I can say that several supplements over the years have given decent results such as ephedrine (banned) - when taken with aspirin and caffeine for fat and energy loss, androstadienone - but only Patrick Arnold's version from ErgoPharm. be (banned) and various creatine supplements (mild results). But that's all. Hundreds of tested products. Only a few have achieved truly remarkable results in the first few decades, and all but one are banned. Regardless, after all this over the top hype and extreme marketing nonsense, my faith in the industry has been completely shaken. Then, in 2015, I came across an article by Mike Matthews on Facebook that someone sent to me. He described the dietary supplement industry in terms I and thousands of other people understand. I did more research on Mike and his business philosophy based on honesty and TRUE expectations of what to expect from supplements with clinically effective doses of ingredients. Clinically effective doses are key and it is very difficult to find any supplement company that can do this. I've tried Mike's Legion supplements, but to be honest my faith in Legion has been like a house of cards. A single mistake on Mike's part, caused by "hype" or other marketing bullshit, and this house falls apart. In the last five years I have not been disappointed. I started with Pulse, that's the product I'm going to review here. Over time the formula has been adjusted (for the better I think) and Mike was always there to explain exactly why each ingredient is there and if anything has changed why. Mike's company, Legion, is the most transparent company I've ever bought from and I'm absolutely blown away by the idea that it's a dietary supplement company. I loved it. I think there are a few pre-workout drinks besides Legion that I've enjoyed as well, but I'd rather give my hard-earned cash to Legion, who at least aren't trying to sell me any tribulus supplement. .If you take the time to do your research, you will find that Legion is by far the best and possibly the only trustworthy supplement company. There is no nonsense and fancy promises in it. As a result of five years of confidence building, I buy my supplements ONLY and ONLY from Legion (with the exception of vitamin D which they don't currently sell as a standalone product) unless Mike is tempted. an easy buck, but I don't think it will be. He is fine when he is on the honorable path. 5 out of 5 stars.
