Yes, this book worked very well. A good size for us to collect about 100 photos, some of which had to be cropped, in collage format for our son's 28th birthday scrapbooks. We fit approximately 4-6 per side from a full 4" x 6" to a 2" x 3" cropped image. We have made copies and original recordings of his year of birth this year, special events and occasions in his life so far. He and his girlfriend were thrilled. The magnetic sides work well and seem to hold the images in place. I would recommend this for a photo album or scrapbook type.
