It's still very new to me but so far it's made one of the best coffees we've tasted. It took a while to get used to how much you were using. It uses less than my Chemex. Two spoons were too strong. Take a scoop, stir and leave for 15-20 minutes, then make sure the lid is on tight and gently press down. I had no issues with water or coffee coming out during the press. It falls easily with minimal effort. We buy coffee Starbucks Cafe Verona dark roast. Little loop. We like the coffee dark, but not bitter. It's a delicious mug for my husband who loves black and for me who loves trivia with cream.
